Description
This wood wall or shelve decoration, was very much inspired from our traditional embroidered or painted floral patterns. You can find these symbols, on all our traditional clothes, special blouses, sewn by hand, by local talented women.
There are many places in my country where the traditions are still respected by the old local people and I felt like creating something simple, as they live, something clean (and I felt very inspired to use white color), and beautiful, as they all are. I did choose green color because inspires nature, our oak, birch, and pine forests, and a red tone, because in our tradition, red is a popular color.
This piece was made on a base of plywood, of 40×60 cm (15,3 inch x 23.3 inch) but of course it can be realized on a bigger base or smaller, and in this case the design can vary as the base allows us to play on it.
Every piece is unique through its details that may vary from piece to piece, because of the unicity of the wood.
